Interview with Victoria Caram - Part 2

Monika: How do you find actresses for your movies? Is it a limited group of girls or you can see a growing number of actresses interested in participation in your projects?
Victoria: They find me on their own, especially girls that work near Amsterdam, it is easy for them to contact me. And there have been more of them now since the Pandemic started. Platforms like ONLYFANS are on rise, so I produce everything for the girls. I have a very extensive database of male actors as well, so I take care of everything and I am only paid for production and copyrights of the material that is done for the girls.
Monika: Which of your productions are you especially proud of?
Victoria: The one I am doing now for Argentina, it is called Miss Trans Star Argentina, THE REALITY. I created a whole new format for a reality show that will kick off soon. It will last 2 months and the winner will represent the country at the Miss Trans Star International 2021. We will have a DE Luxe Jury and mentors as well. It will be a reality show produced by trans women for trans women. You can check the official promo on the social media of Miss Trans Star Argentina.
Monika: Some transgender activists say that trans adult movies create a negative image of the whole transgender community. What would be your answer in this respect?
Victoria: As I already told you we have to THANK the porn industry because if it weren’t for them, we would not be even a fantasy. We would be misgendered and we would be totally ghosted.
There is so much hypocrisy around it, like with sex work, they all play Mother Theresa, but they all have faceless announcements on onlyfans, YouPorn, and all escorts sites. I think we should have more sorority, less judgment, and more focus on our personal goals. This whole thing makes me explode; we cannot become the inquisitors of our sisters when 99 percent of us have been there. And let me tell you something, SUGAR DADDIES ARE INVOLVED IN SEX WORK. You exchange a good for a favor, that makes it professional, darling!
Monika: Can porn be regarded as art? If yes, how would you draw a line between such art and something that is far from it?
Victoria: Sex and art have been bedfellows for a long time. Nudity has been ubiquitous in paintings and sculptures beginning way back in the day — the 130 BC years — with things like the Venus De Milo.

"I created a whole new format for a
reality show that will kick off soon."

From Titian's Venus of Urbino to Michelangelo's David, artists admired the human form and made some sensual images that are still identifiable as art. Art is about sex. Porn is sex. Art is a sort of veil through which we can view the issues of sex and porn is a demonstration, if you will, of the act itself.
As time's gone by, the line between art and porn has been even more blurred. I consider that art is all around us, art is beautiful as well as naked bodies are, and so something as natural as how we came to this world. For this terrible crime of feeling ashamed of our nudity and criminalization of sexual intercourse, there is only one thing to be blamed… RELIGION!
Monika: Had you ever participated in beauty pageants before you were offered the position of the Executive Director of Miss Trans Star International?
Victoria: Of course, I did a lot. I am the first Miss Tucumán Trans ever. I was Miss Argentina Trans International and represented Argentina In Miss Trans Star International 2016. That’s how I arrived at Miss Trans Star International. And I am a clear example of how MTSI empowers the girls.
Monika: As for MTSI 2016, how did you prepare yourself for it? Who helped you to prepare your dresses, make-up, and hair?
Victoria: My brother Adriano and my husband Andre were in charge of creating the show and I hired people that were part of Miss Universe Venezuela to instruct me and be in charge of my image.
Monika: Did you have any sponsors or friends that supported your participation in the pageant?
Victoria: I can say I was local at that time as I was living in Barcelona. I was one of the favorites. Argentinian girls that live in Europe, they all flew to Barcelona that night to support me, and I will never forget it. The pageant was the most incredible experience of my life!
Monika: What was the atmosphere among the pageant contestants? Did you have a chance to make friends with some of them?
Victoria: The atmosphere was incredible! There was so much incredible vibe among us, and you are not going to believe it but, I met there my best friends of today: Miss Nigeria Miss SaHara, Miss Italy Cinza Hayckaeli, Miss Panama Jei Jonas, Miss Egypt Natalia Falcao, Miss Uruguay Lucy Flores, Miss USA Kataluna Enriquez, Miss Brazil Rafaela Manfrini, Vanessa Lopez MTSI 2015, and Thara Wells.
Monika: Now you are the Executive Director of MTSI, so you can observe other contestants. In your view, what types of girls have the biggest chance of winning the pageant?
Victoria: The intelligent one, the ones that can adapt easily to any kind of situation, the humble one, the one that you can see kindness behind their eyes. Bitchiness and arrogance not! And I believe I recognize those from thousand miles distant from me.
Monika: Do you like fashion? What kind of outfits do you usually wear? Any special designs or colors?
Victoria: I love FASHION! I am very extravagant in my daily life. I dress according to my mood. I am very expressive with my looks. If I feel like wearing something, I don't care if shoes match a bag; the good thing about fashion is that there is no law or rule. So if it is in your head ... let's go, girl!

"There is so much hypocrisy around it, like with
sex work, they all play Mother Theresa, but they all
have faceless announcements on onlyfans, YouPorn
and all escorts sites."

Monika: Could you tell me about the importance of love in your life?
Victoria: LOVE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MY LIFE! Love as Art, is all around us. I love humankind, the animals, the environment, and unfortunately, all the things I love are in danger now. One of the things that didn't let me sleep for a while was how I can stop people from killing trans women, and one morning I came with this thought; what is killing us is VIOLENCE, AGGRESSIVE AND DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOURS and how can I contribute to stopping that?
From that morning 2 years ago I became VEGAN because violence should not be acceptable in the world we live in. So that's my contribution, LOVE, and RESPECT! They will make the change!
Monika: Many transgender girls write their memoirs. Have you ever thought about writing such a book?
Victoria: No, I have not. I am so busy living today, trying to make possible the click in society to normalize transgender lives and not die on the way. I am sorry I don't have time for that; also I wasn't that shocked yet with my life, and to be honest, there is so much work yet to be done. I prefer that my acts speak for myself and I will let history write about me. I hope at least it is going to be fair to me.
Monika: What would you recommend to all transgender women that are afraid of transition?
Victoria: First of all I would tell them that I LOVE THEM, regardless of the decision they take. I know how hard they've been trying to fight against this feeling, to fit into their social circle, study as much as you can because you don’t want to fail your parents also in that.
I will tell you, something babe, at this moment you may feel that you are condemned to loneliness, that love wasn't made for us. Once my psychologist told me: There has never been a storm that lasted 100 years or anybody that can support that. Nobody is going to come and die for you. I don’t think they will live for you.
It is true that life is about the choices we make, but those who don't take risks will never succeed. If you have doubts about what you are (man or woman) seek support, talk about it with someone who can understand you, guide, and advise. Do not think that it is so rare to have doubts about your gender identity, actually many people, without being transsexual, have them. HAVING DOUBTS IS NOT A BAD THING, WHAT IS BAD? IT IS TO LIVE IN DOUBT AND HAVE IT IN SECRET AND WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE ABOUT THEM. You don't need psychologists or psychiatrists to heal your transsexuality. What you will need is people and/or professionals at your side who inform you appropriately about what is happening to you and can help you solve those doubts you have.

"Do not despise or hate your body because it goes in a
direction contrary to what you are feeling."

Do not despise or hate your body because it goes in a direction contrary to what you are feeling. Believe it or not, now, your body will give you a lot of satisfaction and you will have to go little by little learning to conform it to how you feel. Look at the mirror, imagine how you would like your body to be, and gradually start dressing it, combing it, decorating it, etc. according to that image you want and dream. Any decision about hormones or surgery belongs to your (not your family or psychologists, even if their opinions are meant to help you make decisions). at all times ask for information about the processes related to your transition.
Don't stop studying or socializing with people. Talk to your faculty center if your classmates make your life unbearable. They can be your friends only if they understand what is happening to you. And once again I want to remind you how much I love you and I want to thank you for taking your time to consider your options and that I really appreciate your strength and courage and believe me, It gets better sooner than you think.
If you feel alone, get in touch with us as fast as you can. We are all sisters, we have been there, we overcome that, and we will always succeed because we are powered by LOVE. I don't want to leave without telling you that GOD, MOSES, ALLAH, JESUS, BUDDHA, UNIVERSE L O V E S YOU TOO. All the physical churches are NOT GOD, it is about people like you and me, full of trauma, doubts, angels, and demons, so never lose your faith in that high and vibrant energy. TALK TO THEM.
Monika: Victoria, it was a pleasure to interview you. Thanks a lot!
Victoria: Thanks to you, Monika!
